What are the general conditions of import?

There are general conditions for import that the importer should adhere to to ensure the ease of clearing his consignment from customs, namely :-
1-the importer must have a commercial register in which the type of activity corresponds to the type of imported materials.
2-the original invoice must be certified by the authority responsible for trade in the exporting country.
3-Attach a certificate from the exporting country stating that the consignment is in accordance with Kuwaiti specifications or approved international specifications.
4-original certificate of origin certified by the Chamber of Commerce in the exporting country.
5-the country of origin must be indicated on the item and cannot be removed.
6-the validity date on food products and ingredients are indicated in Arabic according to Kuwaiti specifications.
